Welcome design story

When my brother got married, the #wedding #organizer asked us a lot of questions - #arrangement of #flowers , table placement, #buffetmenu , #lunch #menu , musicians, photographers & other nitty gritty things which would make the #marriage function / venue stand apart.
My job was to get 2-3 interesting #ideas for each requirement and the final choice was done by my mom (mostly😉) and dad.

But for the entry point #welcome sign, my mom was adamant that I design it.

Since I have #zeroknowledge of drawing on a #computer , I ended up making so many versions and my mom being my mom, chose different things from each #drawing and made me draw what she liked into one picture. Thus the final design is an amalgamation of so many #drawings . (Thank God for the #carbonpaper !)
Presenting the #design #byme and the final ‘look’ as was placed at the #entrance of the #weddingvenue .
Looks different from what I wanted/made... but... still good!
As my father simply put it, “Serves the purpose”. True!
(But it is still close to my heart as I designed it!)
