Park Guell

 

This #photo was taken during our #holiday in #barcelona #spain in #2017 ...What you see behind me is part of #parkguell .. it is a #worldheritagesite recognised by #unesco . It was developed by #antonigaudi and he was funded by #guell ...It was basically a housing development project where they wanted to build high quality homes for the rich with latest technology and #artistic touch.But no one bought the land and only 2 houses were built there!

Now it is a #municipal #garden .

I am standing at the pavilion at the entrance of the #park overlooking the famous main terrace of the park.
