Ernakulathappan knows best

Many people got back to me after seeing the post (personally and through Facebook) about the ‘creativity’ of the post - to the point announcement sans too much “ആഡംബരം”.

But most were so happy that the #പ്രഖ്യാപനം was done by this worthy individual.

One person sent a long voice message saying everyone who has been to #ernakulathappan recognises him and how he makes it a point to smile at all and ask, “അനിയാ എങ്ങനെയുണ്ട്? വിശേഷം ഒന്നും ഇല്ലല്ലോ”, even though they have not much personal rapport.

During the post Ulsavam meeting every year, Sri.Ramaswamy ends the session with the announcement of the dates of next ulsavam and number of days to go for the same!!

This had caught my fancy. 

So, at the end of #ekmulsavam2023 I had wanted to get this recording of his.

But it never happened.

I felt embarrassed each time I saw him as I had already told him about my wish to do so.

Last week, I got an SOS from @subru_2001 asking me to post the dates of next ulsavam soon. #ekmulsavam2024 Facebook messenger had had many queries too, and I had been replying personally to each. I was postponing a formal post. 

People wanted to book tickets in advance to attend the ulsavam.

Last Sunday - I rushed to the temple post breakfast as I got to know from @ranjithtriyer that his parents were there.

And when I told Swamy, he has to act, he was enthusiastic!

We did 2 takes.

And he did such a good job!!

Now, I know why Ernakulathappan did not allow me to record him for so many months!
