Set in 17th century, it tells the story of a fuedal #namboodiri family. A #fantasy. Dark fantasy. #darkfantasy #horror

Hmm… what have I got to say after watching it?

Ok, easiest explanation.

The movie evoked the opposite emotion of what #kantara did.

Absence of godliness. 

Absence of colour.

Absence of happiness. Even nature cried. Rain, mud, wetness.

Then came fire, wind, blood, destruction.

I don’t think I would have watched this movie at a stretch if I was watching on OTT. Having Mary alongside helped too.

Her ‘ചെല്ലം എവിടേ?’, calling the #ചാത്തൻ - #goblin , “oh my Jesus”, really was a break to my (dark) thought process!

Plus her plump soft hands were always there for me to squeeze even when I wanted to scream like the girl behind me.

And during the interval, we got a lesson from National Disaster management, about how to escape avalanches …in Hindi. 🤣

Mamootty is breaking barriers! (Did you see kathal?) Cannot believe he is 72!

Siddharth & Arjun proved their mettle as brilliant actors. (Apple does not fall far from the tree!!)

I would have loved another ending. But like Mary said, maybe a part 2?

Anyway, I have showered and prayed. Planning to keep an image of Durga near me before hitting the bed.
